This privacy notice applies to all our websites owned or operated by or on behalf of R.S.White Ltd, including any information which you may provide when visiting our website, making an on- line enquiry, leaving a review, use of our social media, or you providing any personal data to The Company by any other means such as face to face enquiry, email, letter, phone call , text, or even carrier pigeon.

Contractual Obligations

R.S.White Ltd is required to maintain your data to comply with our contractual obligations with you. For example, when you enter into a contract with us for building services, to enable us to fulfil this contract, we require your name and address so that we can attend and undertake the work required by you.

Your contact details may be passed on to one of our suppliers if required, to enable them to deliver goods to your address, such as building materials or third-party services linked to the work being undertaken, such as those required for building control purposes to enable planning sign off. Contact will be made by email and phone by The Company during the time it takes to fulfil our contract with you, irrespective of your marketing preferences.

Consent

We may collect and process your data with your consent and without consent where required by law.

Legitimate Interest

In certain situations, The Company requires your data to pursue our legitimate interests in a way which might be reasonably expected as part of running our business and which does not materially impact your rights, freedom or interests. For example, for external accreditation purposes, we may share details of the services provided to you and risk assessments etc to gain technical or independent accreditation.

We may monitor your use of our website, such as which pages have been viewed, along with any technical or analytical data gathered in that process, to help inform business decisions and future business planning activities by The Company.

If the law requires us to, we will be obliged to collect, process and share your data. For example, for tax purposes, we will maintain your name, address and contact details along with a record of the amount of any payments made by you for services we have delivered, for a period of 7 years. Photos of work undertaken used by us placed on our websites, personal posts on our social media, or reviews uploaded by you may survive much longer.
